A silhouette of my daughter running across a shingle beach on holiday, nearing sunset (tea stain overlaid with leftover paint applied with fingers and carbon pencil, A3)
A very spontaneous piece, using up the leftover paint on my palette after working on an exercise. Mainly blue, ochre and yellow, I smudged it onto the page with my fingertips and a large flat brush, before drawing on top of it while still damp with oil pastels. The image depicts windswept trees; it was the first thing to come to mind when looking at the random paint design! (Acrylic and oil pastel on A4)
SCD recipes with a creative twist, a family life with Crohn's and how to make it work.
